The Ocean Renewable Energy Group was formed out of meetings in Spring 2004 and incorporated in Fall 2005. In about one year we have created a sector development initiative and are attracting community, financial and government interest for the ocean energy sector. On June 16th we recharged our effort to engage in national and British Columbia processes that can make Canada a major player in the world market for ocean energy projects, technologies, supplies and services.
