"Nova Scotia is inviting expressions of interest from tidal developers around the world to participate in the Bay of Fundy tidal energy project in the future. Tidal energy projects require time to plan, approve, finance and build. The expression of interest will start that process for future FORCE participants."

"Abstract submission is now open for the MTS/IEEE Oceans 2010 Conference, to be held in Seattle this September 20-23. We invite you to submit to Track SEA 3, 'Marine Renewable Energy'. This track will focus on science and technology topics related to wave and tidal energy conversion. Abstracts from all regions are welcome, however studies focusing on the Pacific Northwest are preferred, including device performance evaluation, resource assessment, and environmental monitoring activities."
